Abstract

Periodontally Accelerated Osteogenic Orthodontics (PAOO) is a surgical technique which results in an increase in alveolar bone width, shorter treatment time, increase post-treatment stability, and decrease amount of apical root resorption. The aim of this case report is to compare the use of micro-motor and piezoelectric surgery unit during decortication in Periodontally Accelerated Osteogenic Orthodontics.
